Experts in the Music and Arts Enrichment Space

As leaders and innovators, we have the benefit of 20 years of experience working in the arts education space before the passage of the Proposition 28 Art and Music K-12 Education Funding Initiative in 2022. This is expected to significantly bolster arts and education programs statewide.

Since then, we’ve had plenty of time to expand our education models and classes for the benefit of students. Our program has expertise working with ELOP programs and coordinators. So if you’re looking to fulfill your after school programs requirement, consider After School Music Academy. Our class models and curriculum are organized and easy to set up on your school’s campus.

Expanded Learning Opportunities Program

ELOP music and arts program

After School Music Academy provides ELOP-aligned music enrichment programs for California school districts, designed to support student engagement, attendance, and whole-child development. Our turnkey programs help districts meet Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) goals while delivering high-quality, enrichment-focused music education.

What is the

ELOP Music Program?

The Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) is a California Department of Education initiative that funds before- and after-school enrichment to support whole-child development. Designed for TK–6th grade students, ELOP provides creative, social-emotional, and academic opportunities beyond the regular school day.

In the 2025–26 school year, the ELOP budget was expanded by $435 million, creating even more opportunities for schools to invest in high-quality enrichment. After School Music Academy partners with schools to deliver turnkey music and arts programs—including drumming, piano, ukulele, and creative movement. Our programs align with Prop 28 and ELOP compliance requirements while fostering SEL, literacy, and student engagement.
