Meet After School Music Academy’s Founder

David currently serves as the Director of Instrumental Music at The College Preparatory School in Oakland, one of the top 10 private high schools in the U.S.

In 2015, David founded After School Music Academy in response to the growing need for more music education in after-school enrichment programs. Recognizing the challenges school districts face in bringing high-quality music and arts education to their students, David’s unique insight has helped ASMA bridge this gap. Over the last decade, ASMA has expanded to serve thousands of students each week, making a lasting impact on the communities we serve.
